About Dr. Loh-Doyle

A career dedicated to restoring function.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Loh-Doyle, MD, FACS is a board-certified urologist specializing in reconstructive and prosthetic surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, he attended the prestigious Harvard-Westlake School before enrolling at USC. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, cum laude, with a minor in International Relations at USC. He then obtained his Doctor of Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, where he developed a particular interest in restoring quality of life through reconstructive urology.

He completed his urology residency at USC, followed by a fellowship in Genitourinary Reconstruction and Prosthetic Surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Stuart Boyd. He subsequently joined the USC Department of Urology faculty.

Today, his practice focuses on genitourinary prosthetic surgery, genital reconstruction, and the restoration of urinary and sexual function. His broader practice also includes kidney stones, BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia), selected urologic cancers, and emergent urologic conditions.

Boston Scientific has recognized Dr. Jeffrey Loh-Doyle with both the AMS 800 Artificial Urinary Sphincter Center of Excellence and AMS 700 Inflatable Penile Prosthesis Center of Excellence designations.

These designations recognize achievement of the respective program requirements, including implantation experience and a commitment to educating patients and the community about male urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and available treatment options.

Dr. Stuart Boyd’s mentorship helped shape Dr. Loh-Doyle’s approach to reconstructive and prosthetic surgery. Today, he continues that tradition as a lecturer and mentor to medical students and residents.

As Associate Professor of Clinical Urology at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, he serves as Director of Genitourinary Prosthetic Surgery, Director of Urology Medical Student Education, and Associate Program Director of the urology residency program.

His interest in healthcare administration complements his clinical and teaching responsibilities. He participates in advisory and committee work within urology, the medical enterprise, and the medical device industry.

Life outside the operating room.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Loh-Doyle enjoys cooking, traveling, listening to music, and attending concerts. He also enjoys golf, hiking, and spending time outdoors, with fitness an important part of his daily life.
