This policy describes information handling associated with lohdoylemd.com, the professional informational website of Jeffrey Loh-Doyle, MD, FACS. It concerns this website, not medical records maintained by a treating practice or hospital. Privacy notices provided by those organizations govern their clinical records and services.
The website does not contain a patient portal, account-registration form, payment form, or online appointment-submission form. If you contact Dr. Loh-Doyle by email or call the scheduling number, you may provide your name, contact information, and the contents of your inquiry. Such information is used to respond, coordinate the requested assistance, or direct you to appropriate scheduling or clinical channels.
Email links open your email application; telephone links open your device’s calling function. Those communications also involve your email or telephone provider and the recipient’s systems. Please do not send medical records, identification documents, payment information, or other sensitive information through ordinary email. Ask the care team for an approved secure method.
When you visit, hosting, network-delivery, and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security events to deliver and protect the site. The site is hosted using OpenAI Sites and associated delivery infrastructure. Provider-controlled logging, storage, and retention are not fully visible to this website’s editor.
The current site code does not add advertising pixels, analytics scripts, or first-party tracking cookies, and does not store visitor information in browser local storage. This does not mean that hosting or third-party services process no data.
YouTube videos are loaded only after you choose a video’s Play button. The player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. Loading or interacting with a player can transmit technical information to YouTube/Google and may involve cookies or similar technology. Privacy-enhanced mode does not make playback anonymous. Opening a YouTube link takes you to a separate service governed by its own policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy and OpenAI’s Privacy Policy for information about those providers’ practices.
Information associated with inquiries may be handled by the people and service providers needed to respond, schedule care, operate communications, and maintain website security. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or threats to safety. The current site has no advertising or visitor-data sale feature.
Retention depends on the system involved, the purpose of the communication, applicable obligations, and service-provider practices; this site does not promise a single deletion period for all information. No website or ordinary email system can guarantee complete security.
You may choose not to load videos, adjust browser cookie settings, and contact us about information you have provided. To request access, correction, or deletion of information in our control, email jeffrey.loh-doyle@med.usc.edu. We will evaluate requests under applicable requirements; identity verification and legal retention obligations may apply. We cannot directly delete information controlled independently by third-party providers.
The site code does not track browsing across third-party websites and has no separate response mechanism for browser Do Not Track signals. Third-party services may respond differently.
This website is intended for a general adult audience and does not solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a site-related inquiry, contact us.
