Welcome to my website. I’m proud to create a place where I can share my experience in reconstructive urology and my commitment to restoring quality of life after urologic cancer treatment.
Some of my happiest patients are those who have regained something that many of us take for granted: control over their urine, and with it, the freedom to enjoy everyday life.
Why Urinary Control Matters
I see many active, otherwise healthy people whose lives have become limited by severe urinary incontinence. They may be using multiple absorbent briefs or pads every day, planning every outing around leakage, and worrying about odor or embarrassment.
For some, that means avoiding time with their grandchildren. For others, it means giving up golf with friends, declining invitations, or staying home from social gatherings. The effects reach far beyond the physical symptoms.
What Motivates Me as a Surgeon
Among the most gratifying moments in my practice are follow-up visits when a patient returns with family members and greets me with a big hug. Those moments reflect something deeply personal: a patient feels able to take part in life again.
Helping people regain that independence is what motivates me every day. My work in artificial urinary sphincter surgery and complex urologic reconstruction centers on understanding what matters to each patient and exploring the options that may help them get back to the activities and relationships they value.
Every patient’s situation is different, and results vary. A thoughtful evaluation and an individual treatment plan are essential.
What I’ll Share Here
This blog will be a place to share stories of recovery, discuss emerging technologies and developments in reconstructive urology, and explore topics in urologic care more broadly.
Whether you are a patient, a family member, or a colleague, I hope you find this website useful. Thank you for visiting and for taking an interest in work that means so much to me.
